The Convergence of Innovation, Creativity, Learning, Social Entrepreneurship and Sustainability

We are faced innumerable challenges both locally and globally. For example at a global level they include climate change, exponential population growth and growing disparity between the haveís and the have notís and at a local level energy generation and distribution, local food production, affordable housing, waste recycling and an aging population.

Our perception of these problems and our ability to understand their underlying complexities and inter-relationships derive from our individual learning and experiences. This in turn gauges our ability to create and innovate solutions and to turn challenges into opportunities.

This presentation will explore this complex set of relationships and offer some points of intervention.

 "Managing The Client Relationship"

Having good working relationships with our clients is essential.  From the getting-acquainted meeting to the delivery of a product or service, we are in a business relationship that requires tending.  Why we tend is obvious. How we tend is based on the contract, our experience, and personality style.

In this round table discussion we’ll explore a new, versatile tool I’ve developed that helps zero-in on what the working relationship needs at any given point

in time.  It gives us a quick way to evaluate, problem-solve, and focus our communication strategy.

Attendees should give some thought to a challenging client relationship, as having specific situations to work with will make the discussion more concrete, less theoretical.
