Unfortunately Carol Coultas is ill and cannot speak.

We are very fortunate to get Chris Hall to be ACE's February 17 speaker. He has a very unique perspective on business and government in Maine, spending part of his time listening to business people's issues, and the other part representing those issues to the State Legislature.

Chris is the Portland Regional Chamber's Senior Vice President for Government Relations.  Hall will be speaking about regional business trends, along with the policies and politics of the 2012 legislative session, and how the decisions made in Augusta this winter will impact our communities for years to come. After his presentation there'll be time for your questions, so bring your best ones!

Hall is a 20 year veteran business lobbyist and a lawyer; he has been an active participant in key public policy debates ranging from spending and taxes to education and economic development, and much more, for all of that time.  A graduate of Bowdoin College and Boston University School of Law, Hall and his wife Ruth DeGraphenried have lived in Buxton for 25 years where they've raised two children who are now in college.
