The Association for Consulting Expertise (ACE) is a non-profit association of independent consultants, service providers and solopreneurs, most with vast experience in many different fields. Our members meet regularly to share best practices, engage with industry experts and hold on-going learning sessions. We learn from each other so that we can continuously improve our service to our clients.

History of ACE

ACE began in 1981 as the Professional Consultants of Maine (PCM). Later on it became the Maine Association of Professional Consultants (MAPC). As the association grew, it became apparent the membership did not need to reside in Maine nor did it need to be just consultants but could also include service providers. The group became the Association for Consulting Expertise (ACE) in 2007.
