As I [Stephen Jenks, President] announced at our May 18th meeting, The Board and Operations Committee members are having an all-morning meeting on Friday, June 8th at the Boy Scout headquarters near the Maine Mall (actually at the turnpike end of the runway path) to explore how best to develop ACE as an organization. We are very fortunate to have one of our members, Cathy Renault, to lead us through a new process called Innovation Engineering.
We would like to have some additional members join us in this meeting because ACE needs to be what its members want it to be and become. If you can join us, there are 3 benefits: you will get to know other ACE members better; you will experience and understand what Innovation Engineering is; and, you will help inform us about where ACE should be headed in the coming years. ACE is full of smart and energetic members who have a lot to offer. Your input is important to making ACE be the best it can for all of us.
We need an accurate count of who will be there, so please respond to me,

I think this will be a very useful, informative and fun morning, and I hope that by this message I have been able to stir up your thoughts about ACE and interest you in attending. With elections in June and our recent change in President/Vice President, we have a great opportunity to look at ACE with fresh eyes and set the stage for what happens with ACE in the upcoming years.
There will be a standard Operations meeting from 8-9 am, and the Innovation Engineering session will be from 9-12. You are welcome to come to the regular Ops meeting or to arrive at 9.

This is an opportunity for you to do some mining for ideas by talking to fellow ACE members, other consultants you know, looking at other associations on the Internet, thinking about trends in our field, looking for technology, whatever you think will inform our discussion.
