Ali Lane is a Business Advisor with the Maine Small Business Development Center and the Associate Center Director of the SBDC team at CEI. She offers no-cost general business advising to aspiring and current Maine entrepreneurs. Prior to joining the SBDC, Ali founded, operated, and sold a cafe & bakery in her hometown in Eastern Maine. She holds an MBA from the University of Maine Orono and a bachelor's degree in Business Management with a concentration in entrepreneurship.

Bob LaBrie

Bob LaBrie has been in the training development field for the last 36 years.  He has presented over 850 seminars and worked with individuals representing 400+ companies in 150 career fields since the company’s inception in April of 2000. Bob has an extensive background spanning 33 years in sales training, communication, self-motivation, and customer relationship building.  He has also studied Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) for 30 years and is certified as a NLP Practitioner through the National Federation of Neuro-Linguistic Psychology.

With over 45 years’ experience as a management consultant, he has assisted more than 165 small and medium sized organizations in the areas of start-up, expansion and turnaround with financing, strategic and business planning, business valuation, exit strategy, acquisition/ divesture/sale of assets, diagnostic evaluation, motivational assessment and on-going implementation.
