This highly interactive and entertaining presentation will use the words of Lewis Carroll to generate small group discussion and personal discovery to assess current effectiveness as an organizational consultant.

• Evaluate Self as a Transformational Leader
• Create framework to enhance Professional Effectiveness

 

This session will pose provocative questions to challenge past/current thinking in a safe learning climate.

 

David Pease is the Executive Vice President – Chief Resource Officer at Androscoggin Bank in Lewiston, ME. He has 25 years as a strategic, innovative HR leader in healthcare, business, academia and non-profits. He also serves as Adjunct Professor for the Thomas College graduate school. David has a MS degree in HR Management from Lesley University and earned the national Senior Professional of Human Resources (SPHR) designation. He is a frequent speaker at national and state conferences and has written for several business publications.  David is the past State Director for the Maine State Human Resources Council and was selected as the 2011 Maine HR Leader of the Year.  Androscoggin Bank has once again won a Best Places to Work in Maine award. This discussion, focusing on the non-sales professional, will illuminate the sales process that everyone needs to know and practice in order to sell their ideas and services.  Sales is likely the most essential of business processes and yet is also frequently misunderstood, misinterpreted, and even feared.

 

 

This round table discussion will focus on practical hands-on methods for improving the likelihood for a successful outcome in your next meeting with a prospect, brainstorm methods for improving your own personal process, and explore sales as a craft that anyone can learn but that demands constant improvement.  Tim's email is timcyr@gmail.com.
